AutonetMagz – The strong contestant in this segment, the BMW 5-Series G30 finally arrived, as finally BMW Indonesia introduced this new generation in 2 new type, the Luxury Line, and M Sport.
Both of these models looks different, as the Luxury line prefer a more simple bumper design, a multispoke wheels, a chrome detail accent at exterior and dual round shaped exhaust. In the other side, the M Sport came with a sportier bodykit, 10-spoke wheels, gloss black accent, and square shaped dual muffler along with a blue brake calipers with ///M logo.
While on the inside, the Luxury Line looks more luxurious with a black-beige interior as the M Sport apply a full sporty black interior. Several features of the 7-series applied in this new model, such as Active Kidney Grille, and a full LCD instrument panel who will changed depends on the mode.
To look more futuristic, the new BMW 5-Series G30 fitted with a display key and a touch screen like the 7-Series but of course without remote parking. It also came with a self parking both for lateral and parallel parking, while the AC apply a 4-zone climate control to control all the seats individually, and a touch screen plus gesture control iDrive.
For the rear passenger, the cabin felt more spacious compared to the F10 generation repalced by this new models. One thing that wasn’t available in its rival is the rear seat entertainment with 10.2 inches screen connected to the iDrive system.
Both BMW 530i Luxury Line or M Sport will apply a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder turbo producing 252 hp and 350 Nm of torque, mated with an 8-speed ZF gearbox, that could accelerate the car from 0-100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds. BMW priced the G30 generation of the 5-series at IDR 1.149 Billion for the luxury Line and 1.379 billion for the M Sport variant.
