AutonetMagz – With a strict competition in the SUV market VW didn’t want to stand still and let their competitors walk away. As they just released the VW Tiguan Allspace with 7 seaters capacity at the Geneva Motor Show 2017.
this latest Tiguan positioned between the normal Tiguan and Touareg in Europe market, as the Allspace offers 7 seats accommodation and a more spacious boot.
The main difference lies on the 109 mm longer wheelbase and 215 mm longer dimension compared to normal Tiguan. This make the Tiguan Allspace to have 145 liter extra capacity when 3rd row seats folded, so do 54 mm more leg room along with off road and on road choices.
Some new features also fitted in the new Tiguan Allspace, such as roof rails, Composition Color Media System, LED headlights and Keyless Access, along with 9.2 inches Pro infotainment system with gesture control.
For the engine, the new model will be available in AWD or FWD and a 1.4 liter TSI with 147 hp, so do a 2.0 liter TSI with 177 hp along with a Diesel 2.0 liter TDI with 148 hp, 187 hp or 236 hp.
All those engine were equipped with SCR catalytic converter and AdBlue Tank to reduce NOx emission. As for the Diesel and Gasoline variant with more than 17 hp, the car will be available with VW’s 4Motion all-wheel drive system and a DSG transmission.
As for safety features, it will be fitted with Traffic Jam Assist with Stop and Go, City Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Monitoring, Trailer Assist, and much more.
VW will start to receives order on May and will deliver the car to the customers on this September as the price tag will start from EUR 30,000 for the basic trim.
