But too bad, a lot of sides, including Nurburgring observer starting to doubt the time, as for them the video is merely a digital recreation to elevates Lamborghini name in the world.
Ringfreaks, Bridge to Gantry, and Misha Charoudin who known as Boosted Boris, sounds their opinion regarding the video. As according to them, the lap time of the Lamborghini Huracan Performante is a set up and they have supporting data to proof it.
Bridge to Gantry compared the Huracan Performante with its older siblings, the Aventador SV, as the Aventador SV have a higher average speed when running a lap in the Nurburgring, but remains to reach only 1 Minutes 59 seconds of lap time, as it is weird if the car having a higher average speed but less lap time. That is why they think that the video has been edited by raising its frame rate as much as 5%.
But what Ringfreaks done is more, as they take a lot of screenshot for the Porsche 918 Spyder lap time compared to the Huracan Performante.
After those abundant picture, they compared both of the car based on the data obtained, Ringfreaks found some anomalies in the Huracan video. They see that the 918 Spyder able to do a much faster cornering compared to the Huracan. Not to mention, on the straight, the hybrid supercar easily beat the Italian bull.
Are there any mistakes in the lap timing done by the Italian brand, or indeed as the expert said that Lamborghini are trying to create a public lies about their new car performance. We will see how it goes.
