Surely you are familiar with KTM, the bike makers from Austria who last year stirred some fuzz in Indonesia market by revising the Duke and RC-series price tag, and now, we are going to talk about the beast from KTM, the KTM 390 Duke.
Just like other makers, the name describe the displacement. Its 373.2 cc 4-stroke 1 cylinder producing 32 kW or 44 HP and comply to EURO4 emission level. Surely nothing wrong with 1 cylinder, as it meant for riding comfort, good handling, and lightweight bike.
With its 1 cylinder configuration, surely the low rpm torque will be felt, as it reached 37 Nm or 2 Nm higher compared to the previous version. The 6-speed close ratio transmission also fun to use, and with a weight only 149 Kg, it only 1 kg difference with the Yamaha FZ25 with 250 cc engine. Surely the power to weight ratio are very good, not to mentioned the slipper clutch and ride by wire will aid your riding comfort.
As for the design, the new headlamp with LED and a sharper body line completes its transformation, so do the TFT instrument panel and KTM my-ride features to connect your smartphone to the bike.
The new KTM Duke 390 will be introduced on 23rd February 2017, and costs around 3.57 lakh or around IDR 70.9 million as we don’t know the price if its enter Indonesia market.
