The new Mazda6 Estate, came with features who shouldn’t be differs much compared to the saloon variant. Despite the market are quite niche, we think with its arrival, it will create a certain prestige for the owners, and remind us of Mitsubishi Legnum or Subaru Outback.
But a slight odd specification found from this estate model, as if usually a wagon version will be longer than saloon, this model have slightly shorter dimension, with 6.5 cm shorter, same width, and different height due to the availability of roof rails. While the legroom are 3 cm shorter, so do 8 cm shorter wheelbase, and additional 22 liters of bootspace, and 14 kg weight difference. The price? depsite they haven’t officially announced it, the rumor saying that the price tag will be around IDR 600 – 700 Million.
While the Mazda 3 hatchback fitted with a 2.0 liter 155 hp SKYACTIV engine will have a quite similar price tag as the CX-3, around IDR 450 million, as the 7-seater MPV, the Mazda 5, will be positioned below the Biante, with a price tag probably around IDR 350 to 400 million.
As the phenomenal CUV, the Mazda CX-3 with quite high price tag, will compete against the Honda HR-V Prestige and Outlander SPort, due to it apply 2.0 liter engine, and whether it is worth to buy considering the price has reaching IDR 460 million.
The last one is the roadster Mazda MX-5 soft top who equipped with a manual soft top roof, will be the most expensive cars among this new line-up, as it will be priced around IDR 700 million.
So let’s just wait for the new Mazda2 Facelift and the new generation of Mazda CX-5 in the near future.
