AutonetMagz – Hankook tire racers, Chris Forsberg manage to lead the Formula Drift thanks to his fifth podium position in a sequence in last August at Evergreen Speedway at Monroe, Washington. Fosberg achievement includes 2nd position for 3 times out of 5 podium who make him the leader of 2016 Formula Drift.
A dry track and temperature variation shows his high speed in the championship take place in Evergreen Speedway, around 30 miles outside of Seattle. Forsberg who use a Nissan 370Z drift cars have to fought hard to get third position after beating Matt Coffman at the semifinal.
“I really thanks Hankook tire to give a constant performance that I need to get a podium and give a chance to lead the championship. We did get a good finish in Seattle but with changing track condition and limited sunshine, Hankook R-S3 tire give a maximum tire grip I need to reach the finish line and conquer the podium,” said Chris.
With only 2 series to go for this year, Forsberg will continue their success and reach the first position, at once to aid Hankook tire to be at the top of championship. “I’m proud and happy with 2nd position from Chris, just like we need to continue this momentum to the final 2 series by leading the championship standings,” said Donato Bonacquisto, Hankook Tire Motorsports and Events Manager.
