AutonetMagz – If you are one of the owner of Yamaha R25 or MT25, surely you are familiar with the recall on last July 2016, to replace several parts, such as Pressure Plate Assy & Oil Pump Assy for the R25 and Clamp Front Brake Hose on Yamaha MT25.
The first recall has reached 20,000 units per January 2017 as announced by Yamaha, and now, they decide to do the 2nd recall once more, which let’s consider it as a good intention from Yamaha towards their customers.
On this 2nd wave there are 2 parts to be replaced, which are Sub Main Switch and Bracket Fuel Tank which support the locking mechanism and the bracket of the fuel tank
The frame numbers affected by the recall is MH3RG1020EK001001 to MH3RG1020EK023243 for the R25 non-ABS, MH3RG1040FK001001 to MH3RG1040FK002620 for R25 ABS and MH3RG1010FK001001 To MH3RG1010FK006663 for MT25.
Yamaha provides a free two bottle YamaLube SuperSport lubricants as the appreciation to the customers who bring their bike to have the parts to be replaced. Just like previous recall, all this process are free, and will start from 20th February 2017.
