AutonetMagz – In welcoming the facelift version of Agya Ayla who came with better looks, bigger engine, we will discuss the differences between this product, to help you decide which one do you prefer.
In terms of design, both of the car take a different app[roach, if Agya apply a more aggressive styling, Ayla looks more wiser. As Agya looks like a Joker smile, Daihatsu prefer a calmer tone with grille and headlamp unification who looks like Daihatsu Terios.
For the side profile, you could see the side skirt design differences, along with the side body list who only applied in Agya, the rest of it are similar, as some emblem differences, such as TRD Sportivo emblem for the flagship variant of Agya and under rear windscreen chrome list on Ayla. For the rear spoiler, the design was different too, along with the special TRD Sportivo wheels on Agya.
The design changes in Ayla wasn’t applied to all variant, as if Agya has applied the new design for its 1.0 and 1.2 liter variant, Ayla only applied it on teh 1.2 liter model, as the 1.0 liter remains to use the old design with some minor changes on the grille and bumper.
It doesn’t mean with a more expensive price tag, Toyota Agya become more complete, as Toyota didn’t apply any LED DRL as only satisfied with teh LED positioning light at the headlamp, as Ayla apply it but not inside the headlamp, as it located at lower side of the front bumper.
For entertainment system, besides different head unit design, both of the car have a different features. On Agya, the head unit called as New Advanced Entertainment system equipped with bluetooth connectivity, as Ayla have more advance model, as it fitted with a touch screen head unit, with DVD, Bluetooth, USB, CD, Aux, and USB input.
Headrest and Seatbelt
Agya fitted with 3 headrest on the rear cabin with adjustable model, as Ayla, it came only with 2 head rest. While on Agya a 3 point seatbelts available for all rear passenger, including the middle passenger, as on AYla, teh middle passenger have to be satisfied with a 2 point lap seat belt.
This safety feature for baby seats wasn\t available for Daihatsu Ayla, as on Agya, the rear seat fitted with ISOFIX who support the application of baby seat.
This one safety features also absent from Daihatsu model, despite both model support Dual SRS Airbag, and side impact beam, the ABS system only available in Toyota Agya variant in its 1.2 TRD variant only.
With this differences, surely its quite difficult to determine which one you should choose, as a price difference of IDR 5.4 million between the top line variant surely validate this featrues.
